The leader of the Shadow Council, Rex, had a gloomy expression. No one had ever seen his true face, only that he called himself the Primal Watcher and had been searching for the Seven Primal Deck for over thirty years.
Eileen added: Legend has it that he was once an heir, but later betrayed the mission of the guardian.
Joe's terminal suddenly issued an alarm: Decoding complete! The energy traces left by Shadowsong pointed to a coordinate—an ancient ruin complex outside the city!
The holographic map displays a three-dimensional model of a mountainous area with a circular plaza at its center. The pattern is strikingly similar to the seven symbols on the back of the Jikiga card.
The location of the Primordial Gate... Rex gasped. The Shadow Council had found it!
Yuki felt a warmth in his pocket, and the mysterious card flew out automatically, hovering in the air. Of the seven symbols, besides the Saiyan symbol which was already lit up, the second symbol—Rex's War God symbol—now also began to glow faintly.
What does that mean? Yuki reached out and grabbed the card.
Eileen exclaimed: It is guiding us! The Gate of Origin will only truly open when all seven successors gather!
The Shadow Council has already captured at least three successors. Rex clenched his fist; we must act first.
Feeling the energy slowly returning to his body, Yuji made a decision: once they got his grandfather's hard drive, they would set off. If there really were clues to his past there...
He didn't finish his sentence, but everyone understood—this battle was no longer just about stopping the Shadow Council, but also about the mystery of Yuuki's own origins. And the power of the Super Saiyan might just be the tip of the iceberg.
Outside the window, the setting sun bleeds like blood, casting an ominous crimson hue over the entire city. Atop a high-rise building, red-haired Natasha observes the safe house through binoculars, a cold smile playing on her lips.
"Found you, little mice..." she said into the communicator. "Target confirmed. Prepare for the second phase of the plan."
A deep voice came from the other end of the communicator: Remember, capture the Saiyan successor alive. The chairman wants to personally...study him.
Natasha licked her lips: Don't worry, I'll take good care of him.
Behind her, five dark figures knelt on one knee, each radiating a dark energy fluctuation no less powerful than Shadowsong's—had the Shadow Council's hunting squad already locked onto their prey?
Chapter 386 Ancient Elemental Language
The mountains were shrouded in thick fog before dawn as Yuki and his group climbed the steep mountain path. Rex led the way, his War God deck able to sense danger in advance; Joe brought up the rear, his mechanical prosthetics transforming into scanning devices, alert to any tracking signals; Eileen maintained a small weather barrier to conceal their movements.
Yuki walked in the middle, clutching the ever-heating Ultra Instinct card tightly in his hand. Since leaving the safe house, the card's temperature had been rising higher and higher, and the third of the seven symbols—Eileen's Elemental Mastery symbol—had begun to flicker faintly.
Two kilometers to the coordinates. Joe whispered, reporting that an abnormal energy reading had been detected ahead, possibly indicating a protective mechanism.
Rex made a stop gesture: "I'll go scout." His figure disappeared silently into the mist like a cheetah.
Taking the opportunity, Eileen moved closer to Yuki: How are you feeling? Has your energy recovered?
Yuki clenched his fist, golden flames briefly flashing in his palm before extinguishing: about 70%. The Super Saiyan transformation consumed too much energy.
Don't push yourself. Eileen handed him a small bottle of elemental essence, which could replenish his energy.
Yuki drank the blue-glowing liquid and immediately felt a cool sensation flow through his body, easing his fatigue considerably. Just as he was about to thank him, Rex returned, his expression grave.
"The bad news," he said briefly, "is that the Shadow Council has already established an outpost there. The good news is, I've discovered an underground passage at '343' that may lead directly to the center of the ruins."
Qiao Liuyi (7) Yi Er pulled up the topographic map of Shi Bajun: It is theoretically feasible, but there may be an older defense system underground.
It's better than a direct confrontation. Yuji stood up. "I can't transform again right now, so forcing my way in is the worst option."
Rex nodded: "It's settled then. Stay close to me and don't touch anything that looks like decoration—in ancient ruins, that's often the deadliest trap."
The group veered off the main road and ventured into a hidden cave. The cave was damp and dark, with glowing moss climbing the walls, providing a faint light. As they went deeper, the signs of human intervention became increasingly apparent—smooth stone paths, reliefs on the walls, and the occasional strange symbol.
These symbols... Eileen lightly touched a mark on the wall, an ancient elemental language, which read that only pure blood could lead to the Holy Land.
The card in Yuki's pocket suddenly vibrated violently, and he almost dropped it when he pulled it out. All seven symbols on the card were now visible, three of which were glowing continuously.
The reaction is stronger now. Joe observes the scan data; it seems we're approaching some kind of energy node.
The passage suddenly sloped downwards, ending at a stone door covered in runes. In the center of the door were seven grooves, arranged exactly like the symbols on the back of the card.
It takes seven successors to open this. Rex frowned; we only have three.
Yuki approached the stone gate, and his cards floated up automatically, embedding themselves into the grooves corresponding to the Saiyan symbols. Rex and Irene's cards also embedded themselves in their respective positions. The stone gate trembled slightly, but did not open.
Four slots... Eileen bit her lip. If only Lilith were here; her Celestial deck had the fourth slot.
Yu Ji suddenly remembered his grandfather's hard drive: Wait, Qiao, have you analyzed the contents of the hard drive?
Joe's mechanical eye blinks: Initial decryption complete, but the contents... you'd better see for yourself.
He took out an old-fashioned holographic projector from his backpack, turned it on, and displayed an image—an old man in a white coat standing in a laboratory, with several culture chambers in the background.
"Yuki, if you're seeing this, it means your Saiyan genes have awakened." The old man's voice was gentle yet weary. "I'm not your biological grandfather, but the person in charge of this project. Your DNA comes from a cross-dimensional sample—the legendary Super Saiyan God."
The images switch to display a genetic map, with the human portion labeled as Earth-Asian lineage and the other portion labeled as Saiyan-Legendary.
"You are the bridge between two worlds," the old man in the image continued, created to stop the impending engulfment of the shadows. "The Primordial Gate must be opened by seven successors, but the Shadow Council seeks to distort its power."
Yu Ji's legs went weak, and he had to lean against the wall. The origin story he had believed in for twenty years turned out to be a lie, and he was actually a hybrid created in a laboratory.
No wonder you can completely absorb the deck's energy. Rex thought to himself, "You yourself are a living deck."
Eileen gently took Yuki's hand: Regardless of your origins, you are you. Our mission now is to stop the Shadow Council.
Yu Ji took a deep breath and forced himself to calm down: Is there still information about the Primordial Gate on the hard drive?
Joe continued playing the video. The old man demonstrated the meaning of the seven symbols: combat, elements, machinery, celestial beings, life, time and space, and at the very center—the primordial.
When the six outer symbols light up, the central Primordial Gate will appear. But it can only be safely opened when all seven successors are present. The old man warned that the Shadow Council would stop this at all costs, because what they need is... your blood, Yuuki. Saiyan blood is the key to activating the Twisted Gate.
The video ended, and the cave returned to silence. As You Ji processed this information, he suddenly sensed a strong energy fluctuation coming from the direction of the stone gate.
The card flew back into his hand automatically, and the four inactive symbols on the stone gate began to flash red. Even more astonishingly, the outline of a seventh symbol slowly emerged in the center of the stone gate—the mark of the Gate of Origin.
"It's responding to your presence!" Eileen exclaimed.
Unconsciously, Yuki walked towards the stone door, placing his palm on the cold stone surface. In an instant, an ancient and powerful energy surged into his body through his arm. His hair instantly turned golden, and the Super Saiyan transformation was triggered again, but this time there was no pain as before; instead, it felt as natural as breathing.
I saw it... Yuki's voice echoed, and the scene behind the door... six altars surrounding a platform...
Rex suddenly drew his sword and turned around: Someone's coming!
A series of hurried footsteps echoed from the other end of the passage, accompanied by the clanging of metal. Joe's scanner showed five high-energy reactions rapidly approaching.
Hunting squad! Joe's prosthetic arm transforms into a weapon, ready for battle!
The figure of Natasha, the Dark Phoenix, appeared first, followed by four figures dressed in black robes, each radiating dark energy no less than that of Shadowsong.
Found you~ Natasha's sweet voice contrasted strangely with the murderous intent in her eyes. The Chairman will be very happy, especially to see our Saiyan children.
Yuki, still in his transformed state, stood in front of his teammates: How did you guys find this place?
Oh, my dear, Natasha is playing with a strand of red hair. One of your little traitors has sent us her location.
Everyone instinctively looked at each other, becoming wary.
"Stop guessing," Natasha laughed. "You're all going to die here anyway—except you, Yuuki. The Speaker wants you alive."
She suddenly attacked, dozens of black arrows shooting from different angles. Yuki intercepted most of them with supersonic speed, but two still managed to slip through and attack Eileen and Joe.
Rex's sword flashed, severing the black arrow, but he himself was forced back several steps by the recoil. "Their energy has increased!" he warned.
Joe's robotic arm fired a barrage of energy blasts, temporarily forcing back the two men in black robes. We must open the stone door! That's our only chance!
How do we open it? We only have three successors! Eileen summoned an elemental barrier to block a wave of dark energy.
Yuki felt the Saiyan energy within him resonating stronger and stronger with the stone gate. A crazy idea flashed through his mind: Maybe... it doesn't need all seven of them present...
He concentrated, channeling Super Saiyan energy into the card in his hand. The three glowing symbols on the card suddenly brightened, projecting an illusory fourth symbol—the mark of the Celestial Spirits deck.
"Lilith's symbol!" Eileen exclaimed. "You're mimicking her energy signature!"
Natasha's expression changed drastically: Stop him! At all costs!
The five Shadow Council members launched their strongest attack simultaneously, unleashing a torrent of dark energy. Rex and Joe fought desperately to defend themselves, but were still thrown back by the shockwave, crashing heavily against the stone door and spitting blood.
Hang in there! Youji gritted his teeth and continued channeling energy. The fourth symbol became clearer, and the fifth began to appear faintly.
Seeing this, Natasha suddenly changed her target and grabbed the injured Eileen by the neck: Stop right now, or I'll break her neck!
Yuki was caught in a dilemma—continuing might kill Eileen, while stopping would mean the death of everyone. Just at this critical moment, a silver beam of light descended from the sky, striking Natasha's wrist precisely and forcing her to let go.
"Sorry I'm late." A familiar voice rang out. Lilith gracefully descended from the top of the passageway, her heterochromatic eyes flashing with a cold light; it seemed the party had already begun.
Her appearance instantly activated the fourth symbol on the stone gate. Even more surprisingly, she was followed by a tall, thin man in a green robe, holding a wooden staff.
The fifth successor, Karen, the Life Singer. Lilith's brief introduction—no time for explanations, activate the stone gate now!
Without hesitation, Yuji pushed the energy to its limit. The five symbols lit up simultaneously, the stone door trembled violently, and began to slowly open. A pure white light shot out from the crack in the door, and the Shadow Council members who were illuminated by it retreated, letting out painful roars.
"No!" Natasha screamed, "You don't know what you're doing!"
She lunged at Yuki, but was struck by a golden energy wave halfway there. Yuki turned his head and saw Rex barely standing, his longsword emitting a faint golden light.
"Quick...get in..." Rex said with difficulty, "We...cover..."
Lilith grabbed Yuki's arm: Let's go! The door has a limited opening time!
The five rushed towards the slowly opening stone door. Just as they were about to enter, Joe suddenly stopped, turned around, and used his mechanical form to completely block the entrance: You guys continue! I'll cover your retreat!
"Joe!" Eileen tried to pull him away, but Lilith forcibly dragged her inside.
The final scene in 5.3 shows Joe's mecha overload, unleashing a blinding blue light, and Natasha's twisted, furious roar. Then, a white light engulfs everything...
When his vision returned, Yuki found himself standing in a vast circular hall. Six altars of different colors were arranged in a ring, with a floating, glowing platform in the center. The surrounding walls were covered with ancient murals depicting seven heroes sealing away some kind of dark entity.
"Welcome to the Primordial Realm," Lilith whispered. "The Shadow Council has been searching for this sacred place for millennia."
Yuki collapsed to his knees, his Super Saiyan transformation dispelled, replaced by deep weariness and sorrow: Joe...
"Not dead yet." Karen suddenly spoke, her voice as gentle as a breeze, and her life energy told me that she was still holding on.
Eileen, tears streaming down her face: We must go back and save him!
No. Lilith shook her head firmly. Once the stone gate is closed, it requires all seven successors to reopen it. Our priority now is to understand the truth of the Primordial Gate, and then find the remaining two successors.
She pointed to the central platform: where all the answers lay. But only Yuki could activate it—because he was special.
Yuki gazed at the glowing platform, his Saiyan blood boiling once more. Whether he liked it or not, he was caught up in this interdimensional war. And the answer, perhaps, was just a few steps away...
Chapter 387 Black Glaze
The city's largest card arena was packed to capacity for the annual Grand Finals. Yuki stood in the player tunnel, his fingers tapping incessantly on his card box. His Saiyan deck, after countless adjustments, had reached its peak.
Next up is the dark horse player who has fought his way through the competition with his self-created Saiyan deck, Yuki!
Amidst deafening cheers, Yuki walked onto the main stage, the blinding spotlights causing him to squint. The figure emerging from the opposite contestant tunnel, however, instantly silenced the entire arena—a girl in a black gothic dress slowly ascended the stage, her long, silvery-white hair cascading like a waterfall under the lights, her icy blue eyes devoid of any emotion.
