Chapter 24 Dragon Breath Bullet
Chapter 24 Dragon Breath Bullet
"Fred, George, what are you doing here?"
After lunch, Persson returned to the Slytherin common room and saw the Weasley brothers standing guard at the door like two door gods, one on the left and one on the right.
Whenever someone passed by, they would proudly hold up a sign that read "Polson's Men" and shout at every little snake that showed a look of disgust:
"Watch your attitude, you lowly commoner!"
"Beware I will report your disrespectful behavior to the great Prince Persson, and have your entire family imprisoned in Azkaban!"
The Weasley brothers' arrogant and domineering attitude naturally angered almost all the snakes.
But looking at the two cards that read "Persson's subordinates," the little snakes had to reconsider whether they could afford to offend Persson.
Let's not even talk about the hidden families that only exist in rumors.
Poisson's terrifying fighting prowess alone is enough to shut most people up.
Don't let Lucien's fourth-year status fool you; he's no pushover. As the most unruly member of the Slytherin Quidditch team in the entire school, Lucien not only possesses a strong physique but also diligently practices evil curses to deal with retaliation from other houses.
Such a person had no ability to resist in front of Poisson.
Who do they think they are?
"Oh, the great Prince Persson!"
"Your radiance has made this damp dungeon shine!"
Upon seeing Persson approach, Fred and George gave an exaggerated aristocratic bow, as if they were truly two loyal lackeys, and excitedly shouted as they crowded around Persson:
"We have successfully completed the task you assigned us, and we are here today to report on the situation!"
Persson remembered that he had given the Dragon Breath Bullet to the Weasley brothers for research some time ago, and thought he would have to wait a while, but he didn't expect to get results so quickly.
However, he could have been informed of these things in the Great Hall, so why bother coming to the Slytherin Common Room?
Looking at the snakes around him, gritting their teeth but daring not to speak out, and the smug smiles on the Weasley brothers' faces, Persson felt he had seen the truth.
Anyway, thank you all.
Persson nodded in satisfaction to the two men, while the Weasley brothers each extended a hand.
"Please, Your Majesty, we will now present you with the results of our research."
……
"To be honest, your ancestor's firework, called the Dragon's Breath Bomb, was a bit too powerful."
"We originally planned to work on it in our dorm room, but even the failed attempt almost blew Lee Jordan, who was fast asleep, into the air!"
"Fortunately, he didn't mind. Instead, he provided us with a lot of contraband, including a dragon's nest flower and several fire ash snake eggs."
"Dragon Nest Flower is a flower that grows near the nest of a fire dragon. Only it can maintain the stability of the Dragon Breath Bomb and prevent it from exploding suddenly."
The Weasley brothers led the way while explaining their research and development process to Persson.
All I can say is, they truly live up to their reputation as Gryffindor.
They dare to research bombs in their dorm room!
"Of course, after that explosion, we stopped researching dragon's breath bombs in the dorm." Noticing Persson's look at him like he was crazy, George couldn't help but mutter a defense.
"Yes," Fred nodded in agreement, "the explosion was too loud and could have attracted Professor McGonagall's attention, so we had to move our research site outdoors."
Was it just that you were afraid of being discovered?
Persson muttered a complaint to himself as he followed the Weasley brothers across the lawn, avoiding Hagrid's cabin.
Wait, why does this route seem familiar?
"So that no one will find out," Fred said.
"We've found a good place," George followed closely behind.
"That's the Forbidden Forest!" the two shouted in unison.
The Weasley brothers chose a research site not far from Persson's territory, but the land was now full of potholes and no longer resembled the forest it once was.
Clearly, the Weasley brothers were the kind of people who disregarded school rules and naturally regarded Poisson as one of them.
"Don't worry, the Forbidden Forest is actually quite safe. Those trolls, werewolves, eight-eyed giant spiders... those are just things the professor uses to scare kids!"
"Besides, even if Hagrid catches us, he'll at most send us back; he won't tell anyone."
Seemingly hoping to put Persson at ease, the Weasley brothers offered a few more explanations.
Little did they know, this person had already ventured into the Forbidden Forest within a week of the start of the semester and even carved out a territory.
and……
Trolls, werewolves, and eight-eyed spiders—are these just things the professor tells children to fool?
Whether werewolves exist or not, Poisson doesn't know.
But he remembered the giant monster tribe he was about to attack, and the eight-eyed giant spider's lair hidden deeper in the Forbidden Forest, a place even goblins dared not approach easily.
Oh, and now we also have to add his inherently evil green dragon.
Someone actually calls this safe?
Persson pondered that perhaps this area should be included in the patrol area in the future, and after conquering the troll tribe, he could send a few trolls as bodyguards to protect him and his two rare and free research apes.
"Unfortunately, it's not nighttime now." Fred pulled out the dragon breath bullets hidden in the tree and shook his head regretfully.
"This thing is conspicuous enough during the day, and the professor will definitely find it at night!" George was obviously more rational. He gestured for Persson to step back a distance and clear a space.
"Look, this is the Dragon's Breath!"
Fred presented a small red cylinder to Poisson as if it were a treasure, with a thin thread at the end of the cylinder.
Perhaps to match the name "Dragon's Breath," the Weasley brothers added a dragon head and a pair of dragon wings to the blueprints, making it look like a chubby fire dragon, which was surprisingly cute.
But Poisson dared not underestimate this thing.
"This is just the basic model," Fred said admiringly. "Your ancestor was a genius; he developed a full five different models!"
"I just don't know why," George added, "these models are named Red Dragon, Blue Dragon, Green Dragon, Black Dragon, White Dragon. Aren't all fire dragons supposed to only breathe fire? I've never heard of a Wells Green Dragon that can breathe poison mist..."
The Dragon Breath Bullet was naturally developed based on the breath of a dragon.
However, there's no need to tell the Weasley brothers about these things.
"Let's get on with the demonstration," Persson urged.
"Of course." Fred held the Dragon Breath Bullet and came to the center of the open space, raising his hands like a devout believer.
"What follows will be the most spectacular sight you've ever seen in your life—"
"The most dazzling fireworks!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the trigger was pulled.
A resounding dragon's roar echoed through the forest as the small fire dragon flapped its wings and roared as it rose into the sky, seemingly carrying the dreams of the young people.
The dragon's breath bomb exploded.
