Chapter 650- Training The Queen
Chapter 650- Training The Queen
Reinhardt inhaled slowly and explained.
"We were training."
Naturally, no one believed him.
"Unbelievable."
Verdia spoke next with a smile that wasn’t a smile.
"To think you would leave everyone behind and enjoy yourself elsewhere."
Zerina held back her smile with great restraint.
"Commander, do you want me to demonstrate to them that we were really training?"
"Was she not satisfied by creating this mess?"
Reinhardt shook his head. He massaged his temples.
The last thing he needed was half the mansion collapsing.
In the end, it took a lengthy and detailed explanation to finally calm them.
He also had to promise spending time with all of them to finally settle this matter.
"So that’s what he said, huh?"
Few days later.
Capital, royal garden.
Reinhardt stood before the Queen and told her about the request the king made.
The latter was having her afternoon tea while languidly enjoying the scenery of the garden and the sun.
Hearing this, an amused glint flashed in her eyes.
"I know. After you left that day, he came to me. He was quite enthusiastic about his request."
Reinhardt found the king’s request quite peculiar.
However, when he thought about the attack on the capital and how in the future expedition most of the powerful knights would leave for the Tainted Lands, he understood the king’s reasoning.
Of course, what he did know was that all the reasoning the king gave him that day was all a lie.
What he really wanted was to witness the scene he witnessed on that particular day and satisfy his cravings.
The Queen lifted her teacup. She took a sip, then placed it gently down.
Reinhardt might not be aware of it, but she knew full well what was going on in that king’s mind.
She also knew all the preparation he made for the day.
"[You won’t believe what that bastard did. But don’t worry, I have already destroyed all those things from the inside. They won’t be able to capture anything]."
Minerva spoke inside her mind.
The Queen nodded. Though the next second her face became red.
"Are we really doing this?"
"[What else? If you don’t take the initiative, then don’t come back crying to me when other women around him steal him from you]."
Minerva grumbled.
She then looked at her other self and spoke seriously.
"[You saw the scene that day. Other than the daughter of house Valkyrie, that secretary you sent to him, and the actress Eleanor, all of them seem to have romantic feelings for him].
[With so many competitors, even if he made a divine vow to you, you cannot stay passive. You need to seduce and make him look only at you. Well, if it’s too much, I can always switch. I want to break our record]."
The Queen rolled her eyes at Minerva.
Like she would switch.
That said, although shameless, what she said did make sense.
Reinhardt saw the queen slowly stand up.
"I find the idea of training under you quite intriguing. Regardless of the King’s intentions, I know that my body has potential."
The demonic fragment you sealed possessed immense power.
Throughout the years, it had refined my body, making it much stronger than a normal person.
Though I have neglected training since my other soul mainly relied on demonic magic.
But I guess this is no longer an option.
Saying that, she stepped towards him and smoothed her white gown.
"I accept your proposal. Train me in the way of the sword."
The decision was made.
The pretext was established.
Reinhardt nodded, unaware.
Since the Queen wanted to become stronger, he would help her wholeheartedly.
The phoenix chick perched on her shoulder chirped.
Although the divine beast could protect her just fine, there was no harm in taking extra precaution.
"The king has already prepared a suitable training ground for us. Come with me."
She led him through a hidden gate in the garden wall. They arrived at the palace’s eastern fortifications.
There stood a large hall with a tall circular ceiling.
It was a training ground.
The walls and even the ground here were made with reinforced stone. A barrier covered the entire place.
It was a completely isolated arena.
Reinhardt walked to the center of the space and commented.
"This is adequate. More than adequate."
With that, he looked at the Queen.
"Your majesty, before we start, let me tell you that I am not a lenient instructor."
"Is that so? Very well, I shall try my very best not to fail you."
The Queen looked back at him with challenge.
Reinhardt nodded.
"Then let us begin."
Saying that, his eyes scanned her body, assessing her physical stats.
Just as she said, her body was refined by the demonic fragment within her.
He was not just talking about her physical stats, but her build too.
She was slender, yet adequately abundant.
Her shoulders had a graceful breadth.
Her arms, pale and smooth, carried a latent strength in their lines.
Her breasts, visible through the thin shift, were voluptuous. But they were also pert, high, and the outline of her nipples was faintly visible against the fabric.
Her waist was narrow. Her hips were curvy.
Her legs were long. The muscles of her calves and thighs were defined.
She possessed all the qualities of a swordsman.
Reinhardt stepped towards the Queen.
"Your Majesty, your frame is quite excellent. Your center of gravity is low, stable. That is an advantage."
His eyes dropped to her legs.
"Your legs are strong. The demonic physiology grants endurance, resilience."
His gaze traveled back up to her chest.
"Your upper body is less developed. The muscles for drawing, parrying, thrusting, they are dormant. They will need to be awakened."
After saying that, he reached out and placed his palm flat against her abdomen, just below her ribs.
The gown was thin. It allowed him to feel the firm, warm flesh beneath.
The Queen’s body trembled lightly. Her face flushed red.
