Cyrus's body crashed to the ground, and Blake clapped in praise:
"Not bad, great progress."
Mandy didn't reply, but instead picked up Cyrus and jumped onto the deck.
He casually tossed the other person onto the deck and stood next to Blake.
Black turned to look at Scarlett and King Riku, who were standing on the dock, their faces already pale, and said nothing.
Scarlett gritted her teeth, lifted her skirt, and strode up the gangway.
Black then nodded to King Riku.
"Thank you for your hospitality, Your Majesty. I shall take my leave now."
"I have a very good impression of Dressrosa, and I will come back again next time I have time."
King Riku's expression froze, and he uttered two meaningless "heh heh" sounds.
Finally, he forced a smile:
"Dressrosa welcomes Lord Black at any time."
Blake smiled, turned and left.
He ordered the slaves to put Cyrus in chains, and when he awoke, he was to work with the slaves. Black then ordered the ship to set sail.
King Riku stood on the dock, watching the Temple slowly depart, speechless for a long time.
As Scarlett stepped aboard the Temple, the sea breeze, carrying a salty, fishy smell, brushed against her cheeks.
The gilded giant ship gleamed dazzlingly in the sunlight.
Her fingers gripped the hem of her skirt tightly, her knuckles turning white from the force.
It was as if the fate of Dressrosa had fallen on her shoulders, and she was to live as a slave.
"Another poor soul has arrived."
A soft voice came from behind.
Scarlett turned around and saw a blonde woman standing not far away with a reassuring smile on her face.
Her eyes were gentle, like a ray of sunlight piercing through the gloom.
Blake glared at Stella. How was she pitiful?
Stella simply pretended not to see it and gave Scarlett a slight bow:
"I am Stella, welcome to the Temple."
Seeing that the other party did not speak, Stella continued:
"Don't worry, Lord Black is a bit eccentric when dealing with outsiders, but he's very kind to us."
"Come on, I'll introduce you to the other people."
Without waiting for Scarlett's opinion, he took her hand and led her into the cabin.
The corridor inside the cabin was more spacious than I had imagined, with exquisite oil paintings hanging on the walls and soft wool carpets underfoot.
Scarlett was led to a bright lounge where several girls were sitting around a low table.
"Are there new people here?"
A dark-haired girl looked up, a sly smile playing on her lips:
“I am Nico Robin, you can call me Robin.”
"Kra."
Kella, who was standing to the side, seemed a little shy and waved her hand timidly.
"I am Lady Perona!"
A pink-haired girl skipped over and, seeing Scarlett who also had pink hair, reached out to touch her.
"Your hair is so beautiful!"
Scarlett instinctively took a step back, while Perona blinked and suddenly grinned:
"Has Lady Perona become so terrifying?"
"Hooray hooray hooray..."
He had just let out a devilish laugh when Stella pressed his head down:
She continued introducing Scarlett:
“You’ve already met Mandy.”
"Besides these people, there's also Rami."
"However, she is not feeling well and is still resting in her room."
“His Highness treats us differently, so you don’t need to be too reserved.”
Scarlett hesitated before nodding:
"Hello."
She finally gained some insight into Blake.
Just then, the door was pushed open and Blake walked in.
He was still wearing a spacesuit and a fishbowl on his head, but the arrogance on his face was gone.
"It seems you two know each other quite well?"
Seeing Scarlett's somewhat awkward expression, Blake couldn't help but step forward and gently pinch her cheek.
Scarlett's body was tense, and she trembled slightly.
"take it easy."
Blake waved his hand:
“I have no intention of doing anything to a 16-year-old.”
Robin scoffed from the side:
"You just enjoy seeing other people's pained expressions."
Blake glanced sideways at Robin:
Do you want to make that kind of expression too?
"It's better not to use it."
Robin shrugs:
"I'm afraid I'll hurt your back."
Blake clicked his tongue and turned to look at Scarlett:
"Since you're here, behave yourself."
"If you don't cause me any trouble, I won't embarrass you either."
Scarlett paused for a moment, then finally spoke:
"I will follow the rules."
That night, Scarlett stood alone on the deck, gazing at the dark sea.
Dressrosa was already too far away to see, but her heart was still tied to it.
"Can't sleep?"
Stella's voice came from behind.
Scarlett did not turn around:
How did you manage to persevere?
Stella chuckled softly:
"We simply chose to adapt."
"They not only adapted to the life of slaves, but also to the life of 'upper class'."
"Your Highness can be quite nasty at times, but he is actually a very gentle person."
Scarlett sneered:
"Treating humans as slaves, can that be called gentleness?"
“But His Highness is very lenient with us. Even though Perona always tries to play pranks on him, he never gets angry.”
Stella walked to her side, her face still bearing that warm, comforting smile:
"Besides, we have each other."
Chapter 78 is significantly strengthened! A massive buff!
The Temple drifted at sea for a few more days, and Scarlett gradually became accustomed to life on board.
Perona plays pranks every day, Robin remains sharp-tongued, Koala quietly exercises, and Mandy coldly wipes her sword.
Stella and Rami usually watched the frolicking crowd with smiles on their faces.
And Blake...
In Scarlett's eyes, he was just a lazy dog and an immature child.
He enjoys playing pranks on Perona every day.
They would also bicker with Robin, going back and forth.
But today is different because Rami has a fever, and Stella and Mandy are taking turns caring for her.
Scarlett stood outside the door, listening to the coughing coming from inside, and something inside her was gently touched.
She pushed open the door and went inside:
"Do you need help?"
Stella looked up, a relieved smile appearing on her tired face:
At that moment, Scarlett suddenly realized that perhaps on this ship, she had found not only shackles, but also a faint glimmer of light.
Meanwhile, a smile appeared on Blake's lips as he sat on the recliner.
Time passed slowly, and the Temple gradually approached the waters near Wano Country.
Although Wano Country implements a policy of isolation, there are actually quite a few ways to enter Wano Country.
Besides the rather absurd method of jumping off Zunesha in the original story, there are at least three other routes.
The first route, naturally, is via the waterfall, where fish pull you up.
This road is definitely the most dangerous.
The second route is to first go to the port of Onigashima, and then travel from Onigashima to Wano Country.
The third route is the safest, leading directly into Blade Port.
As a ship of the World Government, the Temple naturally chose to land in Hakumai.
Wano Country has no concept of the World Government; the World Government, the Navy... none of them can land here.
Furthermore, given that Wano Country was the location where the ancient weapon Pluton was stored, one can imagine its stance eight hundred years ago.
But now Blade Port is in Kaido's hands.
Kaido had witnessed the power of the World Government, so he naturally wouldn't act rashly.
Don't let his burly appearance fool you; he's actually a cunning character.
They won't create powerful enemies for themselves without any purpose.
Before the Temple even docked, the news was relayed up the chain of command by members of the Beasts Pirates, eventually reaching Kaido.
Kaido was drinking in his cave when he heard the news, and his eyes narrowed slightly.
"What are those guys from the World Government trying to do by showing up at a time like this?"
