Chapter 13 Flight Lessons
Chapter 13 Flight Lessons
The rest of the time consisted of attending classes and reading books, and after the initial curiosity wore off, I gradually became immersed in the ocean of knowledge.
It wasn't until this Thursday's flight lesson that things started.
Today, Slytherin and Gryffindor had class together again. I wonder if it's intentional, but so many of their classes seem to overlap.
Seeing the Geminis across from me grinning, I gave them a smile in return.
"Good afternoon, young wizards." Professor Rolanda Hodge arrived between our two houses, looking radiant.
"Good afternoon, Mrs. Foster." This is somewhat similar to the greetings I received in my past life: "Class is starting, teacher, please be ready."
"What are you all standing there for? Hurry up and get to your brooms so they can fall into your hands! Quick, quick, quick!" Rolanda Hotchki was really energetic, with that loud voice.
"Get up." The twins, true to their lineage as descendants of magicians, flew their brooms into their hands with a single swipe.
"Get up." I don't know if it's because my magic control isn't very good, but the broom on the ground seemed to be giving me attitude, rolling a few times on the ground without flying into my hand.
"Show some emotion," Professor Rolanda Hodge added fuel to the fire at this moment.
"I'll count to three!" A signature devilish smile flashed in his eyes, and a broom instantly appeared in his hand. The "I'll count to three" from his previous life was much more effective; that was the essence.
These are classic lines from my previous life; look, even a broom would cower in fear.
Gemini, who was initially watching the joke with amusement, suddenly broke out in a cold sweat. They felt that what Ayers had just said was so powerful that it sent a chill down their spines.
The gaze swept over the twins, who didn't dare look over, and instead smiled at the two quails.
[Night: Ding—Please learn to ride a flying broomstick, host.]
[Rewards: Learn the max level riding skill, 10 points in magic control, and 100 experience points]
I don't really like riding flying brooms, but I feel like I should learn to ride one too, since brooms are sometimes very convenient for getting around.
"Alright, little wizards, what are you waiting for? Get on your flying brooms. Pay attention, make sure to control your magic output and direction. Don't just remember to fly and forget how to land." Professor Rolanda Hodge urged each little wizard to get on their brooms and experience flying, while she gripped her wand tightly to prevent any accidents.
But the more you try to prevent something, the more likely it is to happen. The mischievous twins were holding back their big move at this moment, and at Professor Huo Qi's command, they flew out like rockets.
"Madam Huo Qi, I'll bring them both back for you." Having anticipated this, I flew out with them.
"Damn it, Mr. Fred Weasley, Mr. George Weasley, and Mr. Ayers Hall, you all come back here!" Professor Rolanda Hodge stomped her feet angrily as she watched the three men fly away.
Riding this flying broomstick for the first time was really not very comfortable. The wind blowing in my face was not pleasant, and given my current gender, it wasn't very gentle on certain parts of my body.
But gradually, I don't know if it was because my ability to apply what I've learned to other situations kicked in, but I became more and more comfortable riding it.
With a burst of speed, it overtook the Gemini and blocked their path.
Before they could react, a Petrify spell struck them, followed by a Levitate spell that made them float over.
Luckily, I can cast spells without a weapon. I held the broom with my right hand and grabbed the two with my left. Fortunately, they are still little kids. I put away their brooms and flew back on them.
On the way back, the broom was in a bit of a mess. It was a miracle it didn't fall apart with the three of us on it.
"Fortunately, Slytherin gets 5 points, and Gryffindor loses 5 points each." Professor Rolanda Hodge was furious, glancing left and right, thankfully these few were unharmed.
"That concludes today's lesson. get out of class dismissed." Professor Rolanda Hodge picked up her broom and left, thus concluding today's lesson.
"You two naughty devils, do you want a beating?" He gave each of the twins a headshot, breaking their immobilization.
"Ayers, it's okay, it's okay. We ride brooms at home all the time." As soon as he was freed from the immobilization, Fred grabbed George and ran away at top speed.
“Yes, yes.” George did the same, and the two of them disappeared in an instant.
It feels like these two are just lacking the harsh realities of society.
[Night: Ding—Host has completed learning to ride a flying broomstick]
[Rewards: Learn the max level riding skill, 10 points in magic control, and 100 experience points]
It feels like the tasks in these two ridiculous systems are very arbitrary, as if they are assigned based on what happens to you every day.
