Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin

Chapter 395: Extremely Heavy

Chapter 395: Extremely Heavy

Harry smiled gratefully, and the burden in his heart seemed to be lightened a lot. "Thank you, Professor. I feel much better after talking to you. I will continue to work hard, not only to master the power, but also to not forget the joy of magic."

Professor Flitwick looked at Harry with a smile, "You are always welcome to come and talk to me, Harry. The door of Hogwarts is always open to you, and your exploration of magic will never stop."

Harry left Professor Flitwick's office feeling full of new strength. This conversation not only gave him a new understanding of magic, but also made him realize that he should not forget his original passion and fun when pursuing power. He felt more complete, no longer just a wizard attracted by power, but a person who knew how to balance power and fun.

He walked along the corridor of Hogwarts, breathing the familiar air, with his heart full of expectations for the future. He knew that what he had to do next was not only to master the ancient power, but also to experience the beauty of magic again in the process and find the original pure happiness.

Harry Potter left Professor Flitwick's office feeling much more relaxed. The professor's teachings made him re-examine his love for magic and regain the pure joy. However, when he grasped his wand again, he felt something strange. The familiar sense of connection seemed to have changed subtly, as if the wand had become unfamiliar in his hand.

Harry frowned, feeling a little uneasy. He stood in the empty corridor and tried to cast a simple Luminescent Spell on the stone wall in front of him. But to his surprise, the wand was slow to respond for a few seconds before emitting a faint light, which was far less bright than usual.

"What's going on?" Harry asked himself in a low voice, feeling a sense of inexplicable anxiety rising in his heart. He knew that his wand had a deep connection with him, and it would usually respond when he felt confused, instead of being slow and powerless like it was now.

Harry was unwilling to give up easily and decided to try again. This time he tried to cast a more complex spell - the Levitation Charm. He concentrated and tried to make the stone beside him float. However, the wand did not seem to obey his command completely. The stone just trembled a few times and finally did not leave the ground.

Harry's heartbeat quickened, and beads of sweat began to appear on his forehead. He felt a strong sense of powerlessness and panic, as if the deep tacit understanding between him and the wand was disappearing. He knew very well how important the wand was to wizards - it was not only a tool for casting spells, but also an extension and expression of their magic. Now, this wand no longer responded to his magical intentions as before, which was simply a nightmare for him.

"What went wrong?" Harry asked himself again and again in his heart, but he couldn't find the answer. He began to recall everything that had happened recently, trying to find the root cause of the problem with the wand. Since he encountered the mysterious power in the Forbidden Forest, his magical perception has indeed changed, and even his mind has become more acute and complex. Is this related to the reaction of the wand? Or is this wand no longer suitable for him?

Harry, with his thoughts in a mess, decided not to wander in the corridor anymore. He needed to find the answer instead of being entangled in fear. He quickly walked to the central courtyard of Hogwarts, looking for a quiet place to continue trying to solve the problem. Through the ancient archway, he came to a green lawn. It was quiet and peaceful all around, with only the rustling sound of the leaves in the breeze.

Harry held the wand tightly again, and this time he closed his eyes, trying to reconnect with the wand through meditation. He tried to clear his mind and focus on feeling the magic fluctuations in the wand. However, no matter how hard he concentrated, the familiar feeling still did not return, and the magic in the wand still seemed unstable.

"Is there really something wrong with this wand?" This thought flashed through Harry's mind, and he felt his chest tighten. The wand was chosen for him by Ollivander, who said at the time that this wand was closely related to his destiny. Now, it seems to be drifting away from him, and this feeling makes him feel even more lonely. Harry suddenly realized that perhaps he should go find someone for help. Ollivander is an expert in wand making, and perhaps he can explain all this. But the problem is that Ollivander is not in Hogwarts, and he can't rush to Diagon Alley to find him immediately. Another option is to find Dumbledore's portrait - although Dumbledore is no longer here, the portrait he left in the headmaster's office may provide some guidance.

"Maybe this is my only choice right now," Harry thought, and his anxiety eased a little. Thinking of this, he immediately stood up and walked towards the headmaster's office.

When he stepped onto the spiral staircase leading to the headmaster's office, his heart was still full of uneasiness. Harry couldn't help asking himself, if even Dumbledore's portrait couldn't solve this problem, then what should he do? Could he find other ways to reconnect with the wand? This unknown uncertainty made him feel unprecedentedly helpless.

Standing in front of the familiar stone parrot code door, Harry took a deep breath and silently recited the code. The stone parrot slowly turned, and behind the door was the long staircase leading to the principal's office. Harry walked up step by step, as if every step was extremely heavy.

After entering the office, Harry immediately looked at the portrait of Dumbledore. In the portrait, Dumbledore was sitting on a chair, holding an ancient book in his hand, and seemed to be reading attentively. Dumbledore put down the book and looked at him with gentle and deep eyes.

"Harry, what's wrong? You look troubled." The voice in Dumbledore's portrait was as warm and wise as ever.

Harry felt a little relieved, but his voice was still filled with anxiety. "Professor Dumbledore, there's something wrong with my wand. I don't know what to do. It...it doesn't obey my commands like it used to."

Dumbledore nodded slightly, his face still calm. "Harry, sometimes the relationship between the wand and the wizard changes. This may be related to your recent experience, or because of some changes in your heart. The wand is a reflection of the wizard's heart, and it will change with your mood."

Harry listened quietly, feeling that Dumbledore's words touched him. He recalled his recent experiences, the mysterious power, the pursuit of power, and the inner struggle. Did all this lead to the changes between him and the wand?
