Chapter 1183 - 1222: Some Things Shouldn’t Be Said

Dorian Howards looked troubled. Although Mabel Quinn’s response was within his expectations, the problem now is that Kyle Kinston can’t be without her!

"After the incident happened to you, Kyle was deeply regretful. He searched for you for a full six months, becoming a shadow of himself, barely able to survive. That’s why I agreed tacitly to Francine Howards’ hypnosis," Dorian sighed. "But rest assured, over the years, Kyle hasn’t had any feelings for Francine. Many things were just Francine’s wishful thinking. To Kyle, the only person he loves is you."

"Who he loves or doesn’t love no longer concerns me," Mabel replied flatly. "If he asks you about the events of those years, feel free to tell him. I only hope you don’t tell him about how he forced me to abort the child back then."

"Huh? Why?!" Alice Conley exclaimed in surprise. "Mabel, are you still soft-hearted toward him? Are you afraid he’ll feel guilty?"

"I just don’t want to drag the Quinn Family into this, or have Uncle involved any further, or bring Daniel Harris into this. It’s enough to say that he made me abort the child, and I was unwilling, so I left. There’s no need to go into too much detail," Mabel said. What she cared about were the people who had helped and been good to her.

"Are you afraid Kyle will take his anger out on them?" Alice asked.

Mabel gave a faint smile, "And perhaps I’m also afraid Uncle will blame himself. After all, back then, it was to save Uncle that I decided to abort the child. If he ever finds out that this had something to do with him, he’d be heartbroken."

When he asks me about his lost memories, I will tell him about his and Mabel’s past, but... I won’t mention the hypnosis. Let him think he lost his memory due to the pain of losing Mabel."

After all, if the hypnosis were revealed, Kyle might remember everything, including how he forced Mabel to abort. Francine’s face was gloomy. She didn’t expect the situation she feared would come so quickly, but the only difference is that Kyle hasn’t regained his memory, and her cousin won’t mention the hypnosis.
