Chapter 275 Gohan Makes His Reappearance
Chapter 275 Son Gohan Makes His Reappearance
The sky above Namek was suddenly shrouded in a thick, inky darkness, like a giant black curtain tightly enveloping the entire planet. In the deathly silent Namekian village, a bizarre scene was unfolding. The Namekians, long thought dead, slowly opened their eyes, their gazes filled with bewilderment and confusion. Their bodies, as if drawn by invisible threads, swayed and rose to their feet.
“Strange, aren’t we all dead?” A Namekian’s voice trembled with fear, breaking the oppressive silence.
"Yeah, what's going on here?" another Namekian chimed in, his voice equally filled with confusion. He looked around anxiously, as if trying to find the answer in this familiar yet strange environment.
Another person looked up at the dark sky, their voice trembling slightly: "Why is the sky black? Could it be... could it be..." Fear spread among them, and everyone's heart was filled with countless questions, yet no answers could be found.
……
Dandy also woke up. He slowly opened his eyes, struggled to get up from the ground, stood up, and anxiously looked around, muttering to himself, "Where am I? Am I...am I still alive?"
On the mountain where the Namekian Grand Elder was located, the Grand Elder's originally lifeless fingers twitched slightly, as if responding to this mysterious resurrection.
The Grand Elder slowly opened his eyes and asked in confusion, "What's going on? How am I still alive?"
……
At that moment, Frieza stared smugly at the bottomless crater in the ground, plotting how to escape this soon-to-be-destroyed planet. Suddenly, he keenly sensed something amiss in the sky; the light rapidly dimmed. Frieza instinctively looked up, a flicker of panic in his eyes, and muttered, "What's happening? Is this a sign of Namek's impending destruction? Looks like I'd better hurry and get off this useless planet as soon as possible. Getting caught in the vortex of this explosion will only drain my strength further."
He had just turned to leave when he caught a glimpse of a faint point of light out of the corner of his eye, standing out starkly in the darkness. Frieza was startled, jerking back to look at the deep crater in the ground, his face filled with disbelief. "Could it be that guy isn't dead yet?" he said uncertainly. Just as he was wondering, the point of light grew larger, hurtling closer like a shooting star, finally stopping steadily not far from Frieza. It was Gohan, his breathing rapid, his chest heaving, but his eyes burned with a resolute flame as he roared, "This time, it's my turn to deal with you!"
Frieza recognized Gohan and was initially taken aback, but then suddenly realized what he meant and burst into laughter: "Hahahaha, I never expected you could fly at such a speed! You truly are a Saiyan child!"
Son Gohan, not to be outdone, retorted loudly, "Don't get too cocky! This time I'll definitely defeat you!"
Frieza's laughter abruptly ceased, replaced by a disdainful sneer. His body began to undergo a strange transformation. His bulging muscles gradually contracted, and his form visibly shrank, slowly withdrawing his full power. He didn't want to expend any more energy unleashed, as using his full strength was far too taxing on his body.
Frieza stared at Gohan and said coldly, "Your body is exhausted. You think you can defeat me? I think you should know my absolute strength, right? You Saiyans are really strange. You know you can't win, but you still insist on fighting. Fine, it saves me time going to Earth. Alright, last Saiyan, come on then!" With that, Frieza spread his arms and looked at Gohan provocatively.
Gohan roared, unleashing a powerful shockwave that crackled through the air as if igniting it. Like a cannonball, he charged towards Frieza with unstoppable momentum. Just before reaching Frieza, Gohan suddenly sidestepped, skillfully adjusting his direction and soaring over Frieza's head at incredible speed, flying away into the distance. Frieza was slightly taken aback, a flicker of surprise in his eyes. He hadn't expected Gohan to possess such skill. However, his reaction was lightning-fast; in a flash, he appeared in front of Gohan, firmly blocking his path. Frieza clasped his hands in a mocking smile and said, "How about that? Didn't you just say you were going to defeat me? Or, seeing my absolute power, all you can think about is running away?"
Ignoring Frieza's taunts, Gohan took a small step back, took a deep breath, and unleashed his aura once more. This time, his aura was even more intense than before, violently churning the surrounding air and forming small tornadoes. He constantly adjusted his direction during flight, his figure elusive and ghostly. Frieza sneered disdainfully, his figure vanishing instantly, reappearing above and behind Gohan. A ruthless glint flashed in his eyes, and he punched Gohan in the back. This punch carried immense force, instantly compressing the air and creating a sharp whistling sound. Gohan couldn't dodge in time and was slammed heavily into the ground.
Dust billowed up from the ground, revealing a massive crater. Frieza slowly descended, standing at the edge of the crater, looking down at Gohan struggling on the ground. A cruel smile appeared on his face as he said, "Tell me, what kind of death do you want?"
Gohan struggled to lift his head, a trickle of blood at the corner of his mouth. He thought to himself, "If I can just hold on for two more minutes, if I can keep Frieza here, he'll disappear along with this planet." With that thought, Gohan gritted his teeth and struggled to stand up.
……
Shang Yun was on his way to find Gohan and Bulma, flying intently when he suddenly noticed the sky darken without warning. Startled, he immediately stopped flying and carefully sensed the surrounding auras. This sensing puzzled him, as he detected many unfamiliar auras around him. After careful discernment, he determined they were the auras of Namekians.
Shang Yun was slightly taken aback, thinking to himself, "Why are there still so many Namekians? The sky has darkened, could it be... Oh right, how could I forget? It must be Shenron from Earth who resurrected the Namekians who died on Namek. It seems the situation is very urgent." Thinking of this, Shang Yun looked down and saw that in the Namekian village below, some Namekians had already stood up and were walking back and forth.
