Chapter 183 Naru's Faith
Chapter 183 Naru's Faith
Frieza's eyes were icy as he looked down at Nail, a mocking smile playing on his lips. He spoke slowly, "Since that's the case, I'll deal with you first, then ask your elder for the password to grant your wish. But in my eyes, taking your life is a piece of cake. In my opinion, your wisest choice is to obediently tell me the password now."
Neru trembled with rage, his teeth grinding together, and he glared at the enemy as he retorted, "Let's fight somewhere else! I don't think you want to fight here and accidentally injure the Grand Elder, do you?"
Upon hearing this, Frieza let out a wild laugh that echoed through the air: "You want to go somewhere else? No problem, go ahead. But I don't think dealing with you will take me much time, hehehehe..."
Neru glanced hastily at the Grand Elder, who sat upright in his chair with his eyes closed, his eyes filled with worry and determination. Then he turned around abruptly, transformed into a streak of light, and rushed into the sky, flying rapidly into the distance.
Frieza's lips curled into a disdainful smile. He turned around slowly, and in a flash, he flew away, closely following Nail's trail.
Watching the two figures gradually disappear into the horizon, the Grand Elder slightly raised his head, his eyes filled with worry and helplessness. His lips trembled slightly as he murmured to himself, "Nail, I'm so sorry... You must grit your teeth and hold on. No matter what, you must hold on until Dandy reaches the Earth Warriors before you fall." He sighed deeply, his voice filled with vicissitudes and weariness, "Alas, things have developed to this point. The fate of the Namekians can only be entrusted to those Earthlings..."
Frieza and Naru flew for a while, but before they had gone very far, Frieza's patience had worn thin. He followed closely behind Naru, his tone full of impatience: "Where exactly are you planning to fly to?"
Naru ignored him and continued speeding forward. Frieza grew increasingly agitated, and in a flash, he appeared in front of Naru, blocking his path and demanding, "How long are you going to fly? As far as I can tell, this place is far enough."
Naru was silent for a moment, his gaze quickly sweeping around, before slowly speaking, "Fine, here it is." As soon as he finished speaking, he swooped down towards the ground like an arrow. Upon landing, he ripped off his cloak and tossed it aside, his eyes burning with fury as he stared intently at Frieza, who was slowly descending.
Frieza glanced at Nail, who was already in a fighting stance, a contemptuous smile playing on his lips. His tone was full of disdain: "Hmph, how utterly boring. Are all the people on your planet this boring? Knowing full well that you're going to die, you still insist on this pointless resistance."
Neru suddenly threw his head back and let out a deafening roar, instantly unleashing his full power. His eyes widened in fury, veins bulging on his forehead and body, and a powerful shockwave spread outwards from him, blowing dust into the air.
Seeing this, Frieza's eyes flashed with surprise, and he immediately placed his hand on the combat power detector in front of him. The detector emitted a series of rapid beeps. Frieza looked at the data displayed on it and couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, his tone tinged with surprise: "I see, the Elder was right, you are indeed different from the other Namekian warriors. Your combat power is actually quite high, you can be called a warrior. Combat power like yours is rare, even I am somewhat tempted to recruit you. However, to be on the safe side, I still need to test your actual combat ability. Before that, I'd like to remind you, my combat power is... So, do you still want to continue resisting?"
Upon hearing this, Neru's expression changed drastically, his eyes filled with shock, and he exclaimed, "What?!"
Frieza, seeing Naru's expression, curled into a smug smile, seemingly quite pleased with his reaction. He slowly extended his left hand from behind his back, his tone laced with mockery and arrogance: "But don't worry, I don't need to use my full power against you. Hmm... how can I make this battle more interesting? Oh, I've got it! I'll play with you using this left hand; that way, I might even get more enjoyment from the fight."
Nail roared, "Enough talk!" Before the words were even finished, he charged forward like an arrow, his left hand raised high, aiming a sharp chop at Frieza's neck. However, Frieza stood rooted to the spot, motionless, like a statue.
Seeing this, Naru was shocked, his face filled with disbelief. Frieza smiled coldly and mocked, "Is that all you've got? I even stretched my neck forward to make sure you could hit me. But for your fighting strength, this effect is not bad." With that, Frieza reached out his left hand and grabbed Naru's right forearm.
Naru felt a sharp pain shoot through his arm, making his teeth clench and his forehead bead with sweat, but he endured it without uttering a sound. Frieza's lips curled into a cruel smirk as he spoke slowly, "Since you've made the first move, it's my turn next."
As soon as he finished speaking, Frieza's left hand seemed to exert no force at all, but in that instant, Naru's right forearm was twisted off at the elbow. Naru let out a heart-wrenching roar, the intense pain causing him to lose his balance and fall to his knees with a thud.
Frieza took a step back, a fake smile on his face, and said, "You really have no manners. But, to return the favor, I'll use a little force, you won't mind, will you?" He glanced at the disheveled Nail and sneered, "So? Still planning to continue?"
Frieza looked at Nail, who was slowly standing up, with a mocking smile on his lips. He said slowly, "I advise you not to be stubborn anymore. Before I make up my mind to take your life, just tell me what I want to know."
Suddenly, Neru roared to the sky, a deafening roar echoing across the heavens. A surge of immense energy, like a raging tide, converged wildly towards his right elbow. In the blink of an eye, a forearm visibly regenerated from the severed elbow.
Seeing this, Frieza's eyes flashed with a barely perceptible surprise. He clicked his tongue in amazement, "Wow, that's quite interesting! I didn't expect you to have this trick up your sleeve, actually managing to regrow your arm." As he spoke, he raised his hand and pressed it against the combat power detector, which emitted a series of rapid beeps. Frieza glanced at the data, a mocking smile playing on his lips. He sneered, "While your appearance has returned to normal, your stamina has clearly decreased significantly, and even your combat power has dropped. I really don't understand you guys. Knowing there's no chance of winning, why do you still insist on fighting so desperately? What's the point?"
Naru moved his right hand, clenched his fist tightly, and quickly adapted to his new arm. Then, he firmly assumed a fighting stance, his eyes burning with rage, and roared at Frieza, "A cold-blooded bastard like you would never understand!"
