Chapter 158 Searching for Pearls at the Bottom of the Sea
Frieza waited grimly for Sabo's return at the base. Time ticked by, but Sabo remained nowhere to be seen. Frieza grew increasingly impatient, his anger flaring like a raging inferno.
Frieza suddenly raised his hands, unleashing a continuous stream of powerful energy waves towards the outside of the base. These energy waves, carrying an aura of destruction, impacted everything around them, causing the entire planet Namek to tremble violently and enter a state of continuous earthquakes.
Behind Frieza, three soldiers stood trembling, their bodies shaking slightly. They dared not breathe, anxiously awaiting Frieza's instructions.
Frieza roared in frustration, "What's going on? It's been four whole hours, why isn't Zarbon back yet? Did he not find Vegeta, or has Vegeta already killed him? If I had known things would turn out this badly, I should have brought the Ginyu Force with me when I came here."
Upon hearing Frieza's words, one of the soldiers trembled with fear and hurriedly said cautiously, "Lord Frieza, I have already notified the Ginyu Force to come to Namek. I just received news that the Ginyu Force is ready to depart and should have already set off."
Upon hearing this, Frieza's lips curled into a cold smile. He said, "Very well, but I don't like such cowardly subordinates. You have no reason to exist anymore. Die." As soon as he finished speaking, a strange and powerful energy shot out from Frieza's hand. The soldier didn't even have time to scream before he was killed by this energy. His body slowly fell to the ground, lifeless.
……
Bulma sat in a crevice in the mountain and drifted off to sleep. In her dream, Vegeta appeared like a ferocious demon, demanding the Dragon Balls from her, and then cruelly killed her. Terrified, Bulma awoke with a start, realizing it was just a nightmare, and breathed a sigh of relief.
However, at this moment, due to the continuous energy waves unleashed by Frieza in his rage, the entire Namekian planet shook violently. Bulma, a weak woman with no fighting ability, couldn't even stand up straight.
Just then, the Dragon Ball on the ground began to roll forward with the tremors. Bulma tried to chase after it, but it rolled straight into the sea. She thought that the Dragon Ball might be easier to hide in the sea and harder for Vegeta to find, so she decided not to go looking for it there.
But as soon as she turned around, the Dragon Ball radar suddenly beeped. Bulma picked it up and saw that the Dragon Ball was moving away into the distance.
Bulma was shocked: "What's going on?" She quickly rummaged through her pockets, took out a capsule case, and pressed a capsule. With a "bang," a submarine appeared on the spot.
Bulma jumped into the boat, dived into the sea, and used the Dragon Ball radar to locate and track the Dragon Ball.
Bulma quickly found the Dragon Ball, only to discover it was stuck in the fin of a large fish. Bulma fired a missile at the fish, which fled in fright, and the Dragon Ball continued its descent into the deep sea.
Bulma, piloting her submarine, gave chase and finally found the Dragon Ball again. But then, a giant seashell appeared in front of the Dragon Ball, containing a huge pearl. Bulma was immediately captivated, imagining the scene of being the center of attention after obtaining the pearl, and decided to collect the pearl first before taking the Dragon Ball.
Just as she reached out to pick the pearl, the shell suddenly sank. It turned out that there was a huge hole underneath the shell. The shell falling in caused seawater to rush in, creating a powerful suction force that sucked in the Dragon Ball and Bulma's submarine.
After a long while, Bulma regained her footing and located the Dragon Ball again using her radar. However, the Dragon Ball was found among a pile of crystal beads of the same size as it.
Just as Bulma was about to pick it up, a giant crab suddenly rushed over, its huge pincers clamping down on the submarine and crushing it instantly. In the critical moment, Bulma took out a capsule box, pressed a capsule, and with a "bang," a combat robot appeared. She quickly entered the robot to confront the crab.
Just as the crab was about to attack, the pile of crystal beads began to crack. Hearing the sound, the crab turned around and looked at the beads with surprise.
Bulma breathed a sigh of relief; these were crab eggs. However, a rock suddenly broke off and crashed into the crab eggs, catching the adult crab off guard. Bulma quickly manipulated her robot to block the rock and shouted to the crab, "You'd better get out of here!"
The crab glanced at the robot, then turned and left. Bulma tossed the rock aside and manipulated the robot to pick up the Dragon Ball and swim towards the shore.
Bulma finally managed to climb ashore, quickly took off her robot armor, and dragged her exhausted body back to the crevice in the mountain, where she plopped down on the ground, panting heavily.
Before she could even react, two soldiers from Frieza's army suddenly appeared. They glared at Bulma with hostility, and Soldier A asked gruffly, "Who are you? Why do you have Dragon Balls? Where are the other Dragon Balls?"
Bulma was immediately terrified and stammered, "I don't know, I really don't know!"
Soldier B snorted coldly: "Hmph, hand her over to King Frieza and let him deal with her."
Bulma had never seen Frieza in person, but she knew from Krillin and Shanks that he was an extremely evil man. Terrified, she backed away, pleading, "Please spare me! I'm just a woman, please spare me!"
However, these two soldiers were not going to be soft-hearted just because Bulma was powerless to fight. Soldier B snatched the Dragon Ball, and Soldier A picked up Bulma and flew towards Frieza's base.
In the air, Bulma, thinking of the tragic end she might face, couldn't help but cry, pleading repeatedly, "Please spare me, I'm just a little woman, I don't know anything!"
Soldier A said impatiently, "You're still being stubborn now. Let's see if you'll still be so stubborn when we meet King Frieza."
Bulma struggled desperately, shouting, "No! Please let me go!" In her panic, she unexpectedly broke free from the soldiers' grasp. However, being high in the air and unable to fly, she could only plummet straight towards the ground. Just as she was about to hit the ground, Soldier A swiftly flew over, grabbed Bulma, and slammed her to the ground.
Bulma sat on the ground, backing away in terror, crying out, "Please, let me go! I really don't know anything!" The two soldiers stared at her coldly, saying nothing.
Suddenly, Soldier B muttered, "I wonder what King Frieza wants with these Dragon Balls."
Soldier A responded, "This is not our concern; we just need to follow orders."
