Chapter 109 Finally Arriving at Namek
Chapter 109 Finally Arriving at Namek
Inside the treatment chamber, Vegeta endured the excruciating pain and exerted all his energy.
"Hmph! Frieza, you despicable bastard, you've trampled me underfoot and trampled my dignity for so long. But this time, you've chosen the wrong opponent!" Vegeta roared inwardly. "The Saiyan bloodline won't let me fall so easily. This near-death experience will only make me stronger, strong enough to destroy you!"
Finally, his body recovered enough to move again. Vegeta suddenly opened his eyes, his gaze like the sharpest, coldest star in the night sky, flashing with a chilling light.
With a deafening crash, Vegeta burst through the healing pod. The immense force sent fragments of the pod flying in all directions, the clanging of metal echoing through the empty base.
A doctor rushed over in alarm, his voice trembling, and asked, "Lord Vegeta, how...how are your injuries?"
Vegeta glanced at him, his eyes filled with disdain and annoyance, and said coldly, "Stop getting in my way. My condition is none of your business, you piece of trash!" With that, he waved his hand, and a powerful blast of air sent the doctor flying. The doctor's body arced through the air before crashing heavily into the wall and collapsing to the ground, unconscious.
Vegeta strode out of the base and roared at a group of trembling soldiers, "Prepare the spaceship and combat suits for me, now! If you delay even a moment, you're all dead!" The soldiers, as if granted a pardon, scrambled off to prepare.
A moment later, the soldier carefully handed the combat power detector to Vegeta, timidly saying, "Lord Vegeta, this is the latest type of combat power detector..."
Vegeta looked at the detector, a mocking smile on his face. He thought to himself, "This ridiculous thing is just a tool for Frieza to control me now. However, I still need this to find the Dragon Balls on Namek." But he said coldly, "Hmph! Get lost!" With that, he raised his arm and grabbed the power level detector.
Standing outside the base, Vegeta gazed at the vast universe, thinking to himself, "Frieza, do you think you can easily obtain the Dragon Balls? I've endured so much suffering in the healing chamber, waiting for this moment. Now that I'm much stronger, I'll make you pay a terrible price for what you've done. I'll show you that I, Vegeta, am not a weakling to be slaughtered! I will not only steal the Dragon Balls to fulfill my own wishes, but I will also tear you, this despicable bastard, to pieces to vent my hatred!"
At that moment, a soldier rushed over and said tremblingly, "Lord Vegeta, the spaceship and battle suit are ready."
Vegeta snorted and strode towards the spaceship. Once inside, he sat in the pilot's seat and expertly activated the various buttons. As the roar of the engines grew louder, the spaceship slowly ascended.
Vegeta gazed through the porthole at the receding base, a complex mix of emotions welling up inside him: "Once, I eked out a living in Frieza's shadow. Now, I finally have the chance to fight back. Frieza, just you wait! I will show you my true power! This time, I will stand at the pinnacle of the universe, and everyone will have to respect me, Vegeta!"
The spaceship accelerated through space, Vegeta's gaze fixed resolutely on the endless darkness ahead, as if the end of that darkness held the turning point of his destiny. He murmured to himself, "This time, I must succeed. I will let everyone know that Vegeta is the strongest being in the universe!"
……
After a long journey through the vast universe, Shang Yun and his group's spaceship finally arrived at the outer space of Namek and began its slow descent towards the mysterious planet. As they descended, the entirety of Namek gradually came into view.
Bulma excitedly squeezed to the porthole, her eyes wide open, and pointed down, shouting, "Look, that's Namek! It's completely different from Earth!" On the vast land, strange vegetation was distributed. The tall trees had spiral patterns, and their branches and leaves were blue and green, swaying gently in the breeze, as if telling the ancient story of this planet.
Klin also leaned in expectantly, his eyes full of curiosity: "Wow, we've finally arrived. I wonder what we'll encounter this time. I hope everything goes smoothly."
Shang Yun remained calm, his hands behind his back, and walked steadily to the window, silently watching the outside world: "Yes, we've finally arrived, but everyone should still be careful."
The spaceship continued its descent, passing through a thin layer of clouds, and was about to land. Below lay a vast expanse of yellow sand, the grains fine and glossy, as if meticulously polished. In the distance, undulating mountain ranges rose abruptly, their bodies a deep purple, jagged rocks interspersed with white mineral veins, as if sculpted by nature with a giant axe. Surrounding the mountains were several blue lakes, their waters shimmering in the sunlight. Along the lakeshores grew low-lying, fern-like plants with broad, thick, vibrant green leaves, some with a faint purple hue at the edges.
Bulma cautiously stepped off the spaceship, which was surrounded by protective shields. Holding a gas detector, she nervously checked the composition of Namek's air, her eyes fixed on the screen. After a moment, seeing that the screen showed the air quality was safe and there were no toxic gases, she breathed a sigh of relief and turned to Krillin and Shang Yun beside her, saying, "The air is fine, we can start heading out now."
Gohan, standing nearby, curiously gazed at the unfamiliar planet and asked, "Aunt Bulma, what are we going to do next?"
While packing up the detector, Bulma replied, "Let's find a suitable place to put the spaceship first, and then see if we can contact Goku and the others. Namek is so big, we don't even know where they are."
Krillin looked up at the strange clouds in the sky, frowned, and said, "This place looks very quiet, but it feels a bit mysterious. We should be careful." Shang Yun nodded in agreement, "That's right, everyone be on high alert. Bulma, stay close to us, and if anything happens, hide behind us." Bulma smiled, "Okay, don't lose me."
Bulma, Krillin, Gohan, and Shang Yun had just finished settling the spaceship and were discussing their next move when suddenly the atmosphere around them became heavy.
"What's wrong with you three?" Bulma asked, staring wide-eyed at the three who had suddenly fallen silent.
Krillin pointed to the sky above. A spherical spacecraft, gleaming with a cold metallic luster, had appeared in the once tranquil Namek sky and was flying over them.
“This…this aircraft looks so familiar…I feel like I’ve seen it somewhere before…” Bulma stammered.
"It's Vegeta, it must be that guy. Krillin, Gohan, quickly hide your presence, don't let that guy find out," Shang Yun said hurriedly.
"Um……"
"Um……"
