A cold wind, carrying damp mist, lashed against people's faces, emitting a pungent smell of earth and ancient stones.
Xueyi, wearing high-heeled boots, walked along the rugged mountain path.
Dark purple fingernails grazed the damp rock wall beside her in the dim light, leaving a barely perceptible mark.
Several demons, also dressed in black bodysuits, followed behind her.
And an elderly man, dressed in an elaborate white priest's robe, led the way, his steps faltering.
"Your Majesty, this is the place."
The high priest stopped, bowed respectfully, and pointed to an ancient altar standing on the edge of a cliff.
The altar is made of huge black rocks, weathered by time.
It was covered in dark green moss and exuded a musty smell.
"Legend has it that more than a thousand years ago, our ancestors sealed an extremely evil monster in this place."
The high priest's voice was filled with reverence.
Upon hearing this, Xueyi's red lips curved into a lazy smile, and she exhaled a puff of white breath.
More than a thousand years?
She chuckled softly, her voice alluring to the core.
"Is this what you call history?"
The high priest's expression instantly turned somewhat awkward, and he coughed twice.
"Yes, for you, this may not be a big deal."
"However, there is a legend about how to break this seal."
"It's just... it's just that no one has the ability to make it happen."
Xueyi raised a brow with her narrow, almond-shaped eyes, showing some interest.
"What statement?"
The high priest led Xueyi up the steps of the altar, the stone steps underfoot were slippery because they were covered with moss.
"They say... we need to find God's golden comb, the feathers of the Kunpeng, and the sword of the Black Knight."
As he spoke, he carefully observed Xueyi's expression.
"Then, a special incantation is also needed."
The group had reached the center of the altar.
The high priest pointed to a stone slab in the center of the altar covered with strange symbols and sighed.
"Unfortunately, that incantation has long been lost."
Xueyi wrinkled her pretty nose and waved her hand dismissively, as if trying to drive away the stale smell in the air that displeased her.
"What kind of junk is this?"
A demon henchman immediately stepped forward and took out a palm-sized silver detector from his waist.
The detector emitted a soft hum, and beams of dark red light swept across the entire altar.
A moment later, the demon reported to Sheeyi.
"Your Majesty, the test results are in."
“About 2,600 meters underground, there is indeed a biological entity whose genetic sequence is highly similar to that of a giant civilization in the Styx Galaxy.”
Sheryl's eyes instantly turned pure white as her powerful dark dimension detection ability was activated.
Countless streams of data raced across her retina.
"There really is one."
She murmured to herself, her smile widening.
"It's quite firmly pressed down; they used some deep hypnosis techniques. You really can't break it with ordinary methods."
Xueyi gave a disdainful snort.
"It's okay, I'll let it out."
Upon hearing this, the high priest, who was standing nearby, quickly and cautiously offered a reminder.
"But...but Your Majesty, you need God's golden comb..."
Xueyi frowned slightly and interrupted him.
"Whose comb is it?"
The high priest felt uneasy under her gaze and repeated uncertainly.
"God..."
"What the hell?"
Sheeyi completely lost her patience.
"It's just a wormhole transport code, why make it so mysterious?"
The demon soldier operating the detector spoke again.
"Your Majesty, the code has been cracked."
The data stream was instantly transmitted to Shee's bioengine.
After she received it, a look of surprise appeared on her face.
"Wow, what kind of cutting-edge technology is this? They actually designed a password for it."
The high priest curiously approached.
"What password?"
"It's that spell you mentioned, isn't it?"
Shee glanced at the strange syllables displayed in the data stream and began to look at them with great interest.
"I understand."
She quickly figured out the underlying principle.
“A miniature wormhole corridor was set up above the altar, which can only be activated by reading specific sound wave information.”
Xueyi cleared her throat and stammered as she recited the obscure and difficult ancient incantation.
Just as her last syllable fell.
Suddenly, ripples spread across the space above the altar, like pebbles being thrown into a calm lake.
Immediately afterwards, space was torn open by an invisible force, and a dark wormhole appeared out of thin air.
Chapter 138 I Submit...
With a loud bang, a massive figure burst out of the wormhole and slammed heavily onto the altar.
The entire mountain trembled.
Dust billowed into the air, choking people so much they couldn't open their eyes.
Xueyi frowned and fanned her nose with her hand.
"Could you please not be so loud when you come out?"
Her voice was clearly displeased.
"Do you know you've frightened your queen?"
As the smoke and dust slowly dissipated, a monster ten meters tall, covered in dark red keratin and with enormous fangs, was revealed.
It shook its enormous head, its scarlet eyes scanning its surroundings.
"Who... is summoning me, Great Belon?"
Its sound was like muffled thunder rolling by, making people's eardrums ache.
Xueyi, wearing high heels, walked step by step to it, the huge height difference not making her feel intimidated in the slightest.
She tilted her head back, as if admiring a newly acquired toy.
She parted her red lips.
"It looks so-so, but it's quite big."
"But it doesn't matter. From today onwards, just acknowledge me as your king."
Sheryl's tone was calm, yet carried an unquestionable command.
"Demon Queen, Morgana."
Big Brother lowered his head, his crimson giant eyes staring at the tiny human woman before him.
He paused for a moment, then burst into deafening laughter.
"Hahahahaha!"
"You? And you call yourself the Queen?"
Its laughter was full of contempt and mockery.
The demon soldier behind Sheryl whispered a reminder.
"Your Majesty, this country boy probably doesn't recognize you."
Big Brother's laughter stopped abruptly.
It leaped up suddenly, opened its blood-red maw, and a ball of blazing dark red flames instantly spewed out, rushing straight towards Xueyi below.
"How rude."
Shee didn't even lift her eyelids.
She simply waved her hand casually.
The flame, powerful enough to melt steel, vanished into thin air less than half a meter away from her, leaving not even a trace of heat.
