Ruby yanked the blanket down.
What came into An Yi's view was a young girl.
A girl who looks exactly like Ruby.
She was wearing Ruby's warrior outfit, was the same height, and had the same long hair that reached the ground. Apart from her expressionless face, her appearance was exactly the same as Ruby's.
The only difference is her eyes.
It is quite obvious that her bright eyes do not have human-shaped pupils, but rather two pale golden ovals in amber-colored pupils.
An Yi had initially thought that Ruby had simply made a doll that looked just like her, perhaps to recreate herself one-to-one.
but……
"Why are the eyes different? Is it to make it easier to distinguish between the real person and the doll?" An Yi asked directly.
"No! Aren't the real person and the doll easily distinguishable?"
Two zeros are etched in her eyes!
"It means Doll Number 00!" Ruby said proudly.
"Oh," Annie replied. "What's the use?"
An Yi was also thinking that perhaps it was to commemorate the creation of the first doll that looked exactly like herself, hence the designation as number 00.
"Yes! I want the Sword Hero to take this child away!" Ruby said excitedly.
"Does this mean it's for me?" Annie asked.
“…Eek!” Ruby’s face turned bright red. “So the Sword Hero is a lecherous man?!”
An Yi: "?"
Did I say anything?
"Ahem! Actually, I wanted Mr. Sword Hero to take this child on an expedition..." Ruby scratched her face with paint-stained hands, leaving dark marks on her fair skin.
An Yi: "...So that you can feel a bit involved?"
“No! This child can help!” Ruby quickly retorted, then coughed twice, “Ahem! Zero! Take two steps forward!”
As soon as he finished speaking, the puppet that had been standing still suddenly moved, took two stiff steps forward, and then stopped.
An Yi was also surprised for a moment.
He knew the puppets of the Thousand Heroes could move, but he didn't expect them to move at this stage.
Ruby is only level 1 right now.
In other words... is making the puppet move related to her special skill?
"Zero will inherit half of my attributes, but it will not grow as my level increases."
To prepare this child for battle, I specifically increased her Agility to 20, giving her a total of 10 Agility points!
"And with 5 points in strength, I should be able to carry quite a lot of things, right?" Ruby said smugly.
“What about endurance?” Annie asked.
"Hmph... Zero's stamina... is limitless!" Ruby said, hands on her hips, her face full of pride.
"Don't you need to eat or drink?" Annie asked.
"Need not!"
"And where does the energy come from?"
"Huh?" Ruby was taken aback and didn't know how to answer.
"Is it powered by magic?"
"what……"
"I don't need to eat or drink; I can only be driven by magic. But where does magic come from?"
"what……"
"It's a violation..."
"Ahhh! I don't know! I don't know!! Anyway, it can move!" Ruby was almost crying in desperation.
She really didn't know!
“Okay, then what are the instructions?” Annie asked.
Ruby finally breathed a sigh of relief: "Phew... just call her by her name and tell her what to do."
An Yi stroked her chin thoughtfully for a moment, then said, "Zero, sit down."
The doll that looked exactly like Ruby blinked, then plopped down on the ground.
Ruby nodded smugly.
An Yi: "Zero, come here."
The seven dolls blinked again, then stood up and walked towards An Yi, finally stopping in front of him and looking at him with an emotionless face.
Terubi continued to nod smugly.
An Yi: "Zero, sit down and extend your left hand."
Zero plopped down on the ground again, stretching out his left hand.
Ruby suddenly felt something was wrong.
Lin An Yi: "Zero, put your left hand down and extend your right hand."
Qi Ruby: "?"
An Yi took a key out of her pocket and tossed it in one direction: "Zero, go get it."
Lin Zero blinked, then turned to pick up the key and handed it to An Yi.
Ruby: "Don't treat Zero like a dog!! She's still me, no matter what!"
Annie shook her head: "No, I was just testing her ability to respond to instructions."
Did you notice? She can think about the content of the instructions on her own.
Sitting down and reaching out are specific instructions, which she understands.
But she can understand "come over" and "go pick it up," isn't that amazing?
“…Oh! Of course!” Ruby’s mood instantly brightened, and she regained her smug expression. “This is my proudest creation!”
Something flashed through An Yi's mind, and she suddenly had a brilliant idea: "Zero, speak."
Zero blinked, as if he was thinking again, and finally shook his head.
"what?!"
Even Ruby gaped, staring at Zero in astonishment.
This child can even shake his head?!
"Can't she speak?" Annie asked.
Ruby scratched her head awkwardly: "Because it wasn't done properly inside... Zero, open your mouth."
Zero stared blankly as he opened his mouth.
Ruby walked to Zero's side, lifted her face with her hand, and turned it towards Annie so that Annie could see the structure in her mouth.
The teeth, tongue, and all the structures of the mouth are clearly visible, but... at the base of the tongue, it is covered by red flesh.
If a normal person were like this, they would be completely unable to eat.
"She has no vocal cords and cannot breathe, so she cannot speak."
But I've made talking dolls! The butler in my shop can talk!
Zero just didn't have time to refine it!
"We've already put a lot of effort into the appearance!" Ruby quickly defended herself, seemingly worried that An Yi might doubt her abilities.
"Appearance, huh?" Annie pondered, glancing at Zero.
Ruby's face flushed red again: "Sword Hero, you're a pervert!" (Covering her face)
An Yi: "?"
What did I do again? (Lu)

"I read in the Hero's Handbook that you can also gain experience points by assisting in the battle against demons, right?"
So I want to use a puppet to fight in my place and then upgrade it.
"It would be very dangerous for me to go to the battlefield by myself," Ruby explained to Anie.
It wasn't actually planned in advance; it was purely a spur-of-the-moment decision.
Seeing his current appearance inspired his creative desire.
Originally, it was just for collection, but last night the topic of going to war came up again, so she thought... since she'd already done it, she might as well let "Zero" go into battle.
“Really? Then we’ll have to bring it.” Annie nodded, looking at the doll that looked exactly like Ruby.
Based on his understanding of experience points, if the distance is too far, he won't receive any experience points.
No matter if you had a buff skill from a teammate a minute or a second ago, once you're beyond a certain distance, it will expire and the teammate will no longer receive an assist.
However, that's under normal circumstances.
Ruby is also a "support" hero, meaning she doesn't need to go to the battlefield at all, but stays behind to provide assistance.
Just like Noel, no matter how far away she is, as long as a hero receives a boost through her food, she can still share in a certain amount of experience points.
Although the experience points have been reduced, they can still be gained without engaging in combat.
If you're not a support-type hero, you'll never gain experience points if you don't participate in battles.
As for how to determine an assist, the mechanism is actually quite flexible and complex.
For example, the Steel Hero got beaten up without doing anything and didn't contribute to the battle, so he didn't get any assists.
