Chapter 15: The Prelude to the First Invasion - Part 1
Vega was unaware that Nick Fury wanted to summon Captain Marvel, but then gave up because of what he had said.
If he knew, he would definitely press Nick Fury's bald head down and urge him to contact him immediately.
Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers, is a very powerful asset. With her and Dr. Banner by his side, Vega no longer needs to worry about his safety.
Unfortunately, he didn't know, and he couldn't show that he knew about the BB's existence.
He could still blame the Aesir and Loki on the dwarves, since no one could verify it anyway, but he couldn't explain how he knew Captain Marvel had secretly given Nick Fury the means of communication.
Sigh, sometimes, knowing too much really isn't a good thing.
Nick Fury: "Since we can't harm Loki, could you contact the Aesir and have them send someone to take Loki away?"
Vega retorted, "Aren't you overestimating me? How could a mortal like me possibly contact the gods?"
Nick Fury: "Didn't you say you had a good relationship with the dwarves? You can go ask them for help."
Nick Fury's words seem normal, but they also conceal his ulterior motives.
The Aesir do not allow communication between different realms, so the secret passage is simply a route for smuggling. Since Vega is unwilling to share it, let the Aesir seal it away; after all, they won't suffer any loss.
Vega had considered this, but he wasn't angry. That's just the kind of person Nick Fury is; if he ever started treating someone else with all his heart, Vega would wonder if the guy had been replaced.
Vega: "No need for that. Heimdall, who guards the Rainbow Bridge, can see and hear everything. The entire universe is under his observation. Loki's appearance on Earth cannot escape his divine eyes. He might be watching us right now."
Vega spoke casually, but everyone who heard him felt a chill run down their spines, and an icy coldness instantly enveloped them.
Seeing Nick Fury and Steve's reactions, Vega laughed: "This is a god, this is a god-like civilization."
This is just Heimdall in the movie world. If it were the Heimdall in the comics, his eyes could see the past, the future, and even the multiverse!
Like the Ancient One, who died because special effects were too expensive, most of the Aesir in the movie died very hastily.
Frigg, the first witch of the Nine Realms, was easily killed in hand-to-hand combat with a sword; Odin did not display his power to overwhelm the Nine Realms, but silently vanished into the world; Odin's other offspring and other gods of the Aesir were even more insignificant, dying without anyone knowing how they died.
But that's a movie. Movies have limited length, and the plot needs to revolve around the main character. This is the real world, where everyone is a protagonist, and no one can diminish their presence or strength.
After a long silence, Nick Fury asked, "Now that the Aesir have discovered Loki's presence on Earth, why haven't they sent anyone to capture him? Did they support Loki's invasion of Earth?"
He didn't want to ask that question, but considering the idiots watching what was happening here, he asked it anyway.
Vega: "To stop Loki from destroying Jotunheim, Thor destroyed the Bifrost, but don't worry, they have spaceships."
In case of an emergency, they have a way to quickly travel to Earth, similar to the Rainbow Bridge, but the number of people can be limited.
Nick Fury: "I understand. Is there anything else you'd like to add?"
Vega shook his head; he had said all he could.
Nick Fury: "Do other mythological deities exist on Earth?"
Ever since Thor appeared on Earth, this question has been on the minds of everyone who knows the truth, and it has lingered for a long time.
Vega: "India's Moon Knight has the moon god Khonsu on his back."
Nick Fury's face darkened. Khonsu, the moon goddess, is a deity in ancient Egyptian mythology. Although Vega didn't say it explicitly, it was clear that other deities from different pantheons also existed.
"Which god is behind you?" Nick Fury asked casually to ease his heavy mood, but to his surprise, Vega replied, "Michael is behind me."
"What?!" Nick Fury and Steve exclaimed simultaneously, staring at Vega in astonishment.
The gods of other pantheons were very distant to them, but as Christians, they were truly shocked to hear that Vega was related to the most powerful archangel, the godlike Michael.
Steve: "Lee, are you serious?"
Vega: "Of course it's true."
Vega wasn't lying; Michael really was behind him.
Remedios is one of the primordial gods, the god of light and life, and the object of worship for clergy.
He has never appeared in the world. He has seven archangels under his seat: Michael, Raphael, Sariel, Raguel, Remiel, Uriel, and Gabriel.
Does it look familiar?
What's even more interesting is that the emblem of the clergy is related to an image of the Virgin Mary, and the name Remedios is a combination of the names of God and the Virgin Mary.
The angels of the dungeon world live in the Angel Dimension, and the highest leader of the Angel Dimension and the Church of the Clerics is Saint Michael, who is one with Michael.
Vega could easily claim that Michael is behind him; if he weren't afraid of scaring people, he could also claim to be God's messenger while holding the Omidiaus relic—the Tears of Remedios.
Of course, declaring his connection to Michael was to avoid trouble from those people; if he claimed to be God's messenger, he would be asking for trouble.
There is a God in the Marvel universe, not Havein, the ruler of the tenth Heaven who was exiled by Odin in the comics, but the real God Jehovah.
His storyline is limited, but based on the description, He is at least a powerful figure of the level of an Exceeding Being or the Living Tribunal.
He wasn't afraid of God coming to him; if God really did come to him, he would be overjoyed.
He was worried that if the believers in God knew that he was God's messenger, he would be annoyed to death.
"You..." Nick Fury had barely opened his mouth when a piercing alarm suddenly blared, and at the same time, Maria Hill's urgent but calm voice came through the loudspeaker in the corner of the room: "Alarm! Missile attack! All units, immediately to combat stations!"
Nick Fury's expression changed drastically. He no longer cared about asking any questions and turned to run out of the room.
Steve followed closely behind. Vega's smile faded, his robes transformed back into armor, and he extended his right hand, whereupon the two-and-a-half-meter-long golden double-headed hammer—the Hammer of Punishment—appeared.
The Hammer of Punishment was placed on the floor of the room, and a massive amount of holy light was poured into it. The dazzling golden energy spread in all directions, quickly forming a golden shield that enveloped the entire Sky Helicarrier...
